Rodenstick

Rodenstick is an accessibility tool for Windows that converts mouse input into a virtual Xbox 360 gamepad, so people with severely reduced mobility can play games — mainly racing games — that lack mouse support.

Moving the mouse deflects the virtual left thumbstick: the screen center is the stick's neutral position, and the distance from the center maps linearly to the stick deflection. Mouse buttons and the wheel map to gamepad buttons.

Features

  • Mouse position to left thumbstick, with configurable deadzone and range
  • Left click → A, right click → B, wheel up → X
  • Wheel down → ESC key or Y button (configurable)
  • Middle click toggles the conversion on and off from anywhere
  • On-screen overlays showing the current stick deflection per axis
  • Interface in English, Spanish and Galician, switchable at runtime
